Thank you so much Aaron Bros. for such an amazing moving experience. These guys are professional, on time and very easy to work with. My move required Aaron Bros. to be in the north suburbs, then Wicker Park and then back downtown. My move started around 9am and it was completely finished with no problems whatsoever before 12pm!! The staff that did my move was friendly and helpful which always makes the day so much easier. Thank you again Aaron Bros. for living up to the tag line on the website you guys really do "Move Chicago"!

WILL NOT SHOW UP* DO NOT CALL* I've waited a couple days before writing this to cool down from our experience with Aaron Brothers. We booked them for a move this past Friday. Had our freight elevator & security reserved at our condo for an 8am move. They called the day before to say their truck broke down and wouldn't be able to move us until the afternoon. We paid to change our elevator and security times to accommodate. They said they would call in the morning to give a better estimate of their arrival time. After 11am rolling around and no word, I called them.. Katie said Vince was "out" and he would call me back. I waited 1.5 hours for a call back and when I didn't hear, I called again. Vince said he would call dispatch and get back to me. Again, no call back. When I finally got ahold of Vince, he said that their "truck broke down". So I asked, "your truck broke down yesterday, so we had to postpone the timing, now ANOTHER one of your trucks broke down?" Vince replied "Yes, I will call you back when I have news" I STILL HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THIS COMPANY. We had to scramble to find SAME DAY movers- it was awful. Save yourself the stress and GO ELSEWHERE to begin with. One star with this company is way too high a rating.

I was scheduled for a move on March 29th with the company in question. I was initially quoted $385 for a 3hour move with 3 guys. The day of the move I was contacted to see if I wanted 4 guys instead to minimize the time since I was being billed by the hour. I agreed to the 4th guy, trying to minimize the expense. The guys showed up in a truck and I began showing them what would be moved and not moved. The device was left on a dresser and I was going to just simply put it in my purse. Immediately after walking away and letting the guys determine where to start I went to get the tablet. It was no where to be found. I spent the next hour searching through bags and boxes, even looking through some of the stuff they had already loaded on the truck and no one said anything. Right when they were just about finished loading the truck, John the guy who had me sign the paperwork pulled me aside and asked was I looking for a tablet. I said yes and he told me that one of the other guys either named LeShaun or DeShaun took it and hid it in the truck. John returned the tablet to me. I called the company several times but only got the voicemail as it was a Sunday. I left a message regarding the incident because at that point I did not want to pay for 4 guys since one was a thief. The final cost was twice the amount quoted and they took nearly 5 hours to do the job. I didn't get a response that day from anyone with the company. I paid John and signed off on the paperwork because they did complete the job. I contacted the company on Monday, March 30th and spoke with Vince who said he would get the guys story and follow up with me. I never heard back from him. I called again on Tuesday, March 31st and spoke with Vince again and he stated that the guys told him that it was packed away on…

Do not waste your time if you ask me. The owner is very rude. They show up over an hour late with out a call. The movers are not the kind of people you really want coming into your home. Pass. They charge a lot and have horrible and mean HORRIBLE customer service. They also charge huge fees for wrapping and seem to treat their employees and customers like subservient children. Lastly, the do not put all of their policies in writing. Huge warning sign. I will always stay away. .

Nightmare on wheels with a drunk driver to boot!

Let me preface this comment by saying that I've never written a poor review for a company..I rarely even complain about service, but I felt so strongly about this experience I felt compelled to warn others. Let's see..Well I'll start at the beginning. I was the first move of the day - scheduled at 9am sharp. Unfortunately the drivers didn't arrive until 10:30am. They arrived and seemed "out of sorts." We lived in a two flat with two bedrooms and their eyes got as big as saucers when they walked around. They acted as if they were moving a 12 bedroom mansion rather than a simple 2 bedroom. It was strange. That said, the guys were nice enough and began moving items. In fact one of them was really jolly. I realized why when he came into one of the bedrooms..he wreaked of alcohol!! Then the next revelation - they didn't have ANY tools to break down the beds, dining room table or daybed. The drunk one apparently wouldn't believe that a piece of furniture couldn't be carried out through the front entryway after his collegues attempted to get it out, so he lifted the item himself and banged up the ceiling and both walls trying to push and shove it out. Needless to say, it didn't go. Back to the tools. This was an ongoing source of drama. In between moving boxes our they lamented about how they didn't have any tools and them asked me if I had any. I said, YES, but guess what? They are packed away! Luckily I did keep a few items in my open me first bag but it wasn't the one needed. They said they were going to have to leave the furniture because they didn't have the tools. I promptly called the office and told them this was unacceptable. Finally they guys went to ACE hardeware to get ONE tool. When they left, I noticed that they walked back and forth through MUD and tracked it…
