We had to hire a moving company to remain stress-free. Across USA Moving & Storage provided us that comfort. They took on the responsibility of moving our belongings and did a swell job at it. The movers were punctual, organized and skillful. They paid attention to what we were saying and making suggestions. It really was a collaborative effort between them and us. I was so glad to be able to have some contribution in the process. The delivery was made in Wyoming on the scheduled date and most of our things traveled well. My only complaint is that the men took an hour too long to finish the job. I suppose with more experience they would be more efficient. I highly recommend them.

For some personal reasons I just had to move to Salt Lake City from Dallas. I was quite upset given how things had unfolded in the days prior to the move. I didn’t have the mental or physical strength to pull off relocation on my own. A friend of mine hired Across USA Moving on my behalf and just notified me the time when the crew would arrive. The four men arrived on the exact time and started packing everything. I’m sure they were confused seeing the state I was in but luckily they didn’t ask any question. They finished their job properly and left with all my stuffs. They delivered everything to my new house in Salt Lake City and all my belongings traveled so well. I am still recovering from the horrors of the last days in Texas but I’m glad someone was there to take care of my stuffs when I couldn’t.

In my opinion, if a company seems too good to be true, it probably not! When my turn came to hire a moving company to handle transporting all my belonging to Albany, NY from Dallas, TX, I contacted as many movers as I could. Some of them gave me unbelievably low quotes but some research on them really made me question their credentials. However Across USA Moving didn't quote a ridiculously low price, they seemed to have had quite a good reputation among its customers and their quote wasn't really expensive either. I decided to hire them on the basis of pure instincts. They turned out to be very professional. They knew exactly how to do their job and really showed me why they have such a good reputation. It really is about who has done better jobs in the past than getting the lowest quote from the movers.

We have moved to Orlando, FL from Houston, TX in record time and without any damage and by paying the most competitive amount. All these were possible because we used Across USA Moving & Storage. One of my friends recommended this company and that was it. We called them, got the best deal and service and now happily moved o our new home in Orlando without any stress. Being honest, none of us expected such a smooth and affordable transition.

Moving Nightmare made easy by AcrossUSA!

Moving Nightmare made easy by Across USA movers! This is my first move in USA. So I googled and got more worried because of some bad reviews been posted by affected customers. So picking the right movers was not easy at all. So I contacted 5 companies including Across USA. The guy who came to estimate was the first good impression been created on behalf of the company. I really thank Eddie and Nick, who packed our items with good care. and the guys who delivered the items with utmost care. Even a $20/- flimsy book shelf from Wal-Mart, been delivered scratch free. I am truly impressed with your overall performance right from the visual estimate till the delivery. Normally the actual would vary from estimates, but I was surprised to see no difference, now that's called professionalism. Across USA is the best, you guys are really the pioneers in the field. Even pick up and delivery time was very punctual. The staffs are the real assets of Across USA, highly recommend your company to any customers who really want to experience 100% satisfaction. Thanks once again for doing my move from Dallas TX - North Carolina hassle free and immaculate. Note: A tip to all customers, please do a visual estimate before you even get a quote from any company, and give the job to AcrossUSA and sit quite and relax, you will never regret. Regards Manojkumar.

    Moving from TX to NY.

Very bad experience. Moved from Dallas to NY. I have a one bedroom. Movers are not professional at all they are amateurs, they probably hire any one from the streets with no moving experience AT ALL!! Took them 3 weeks in total to bring my stuff. Half of the boxes were damaged. Oh wait I forgot the extra fees: When I talked to the sales person she confirmed 2 times that I wouldn't need my stuff to be transferred to another "smaller" truck; then the guy calls 1 day before the delivery and tells me I have to pay $500 more cause their truck is too big to get in the city - knowing that I see big delivery trucks everyday. He gets to the apartments then he starts counting every 75 feet he is walking and charges me 1$ a feet. Had a total of 115 feet so an extra $40 right? he said you have to pay an extra $90 - I guess math is not their thing.. They are supposed to reassemble everything they took apart.. well the 2 movers that came - around 35-40 years old men - were unable to put back my bed - btw not an ikea bed - a very very simple bed - do not need to be a genius to do it especially if it is your job! one of them was just standing complaining the whole time that it was too hard to put together, that screws were missing, he was turning the pieces all over trying to figure out how to do it, etc.. so I personally had to take the screws from him to do it by myself and one of them actually helped but I had to give him instructions, UNBELIEVABLE how dumb those people are - btw first time in my life to assemble a bed and did it in 15 min. Honestly super shoking. Oh yeah at the beginning before starting to get the work done, he was like "oh and you can tip us , we don't say no to tips". Well you should first learn how to do your job before talking about tips. Do not go with them…

    Bad experience with Across USA.

Don't ever trust these guys..I would love to give zero starts if there is one such option. I booked their service to move one BHK from Dallas to Utah for ~1750$. It turned to be 2500$ while the move completed after 1 month. First thing, seems they don't own trucks and so they look available trucks on your route. If they get one immediately, you are lucky. Otherwise, you end up waiting for month like me. A month after repeated follow ups and phone calls. God knows, if I don't follow up how long would it take. Not to mention, for items in their ware house beyond one month, they charge you as if it is your fault. Second thing, seems they have ware house only in Dallas. So, if you happen to book any where else, they store your items in Dallas only until you are ready to pick up your items in destination. If you happen to be my case where you are moving to a new city and need to look for apartment after reaching destination, then you can't load your items on truck. They don't keep your items in any storage area at your destination. Either you have a residential address or end up keeping in storage area. Third thing, they send your items to destination only on 18 wheeler biggest truck on the road. Don't be surprised if the truck won't maneuver to your apartment complex and you end up paying another 300$ for shuttle service. Btw, they won't let you book shuttle from UHaul for 20$ rather they would do it and charge 300$ from you. Also, the driver won't even make an attempt to maneuver the truck into the apartment complex. He would simply say "I know my truck much better than you man!". In spite of my apartment authorities saying that they never had problem with any truck maneuvering the complex, the driver din't make an attempt. Why would he? Who doesn't want additional free…

Very Bad Experience with Across USA.

The worst ever moving experience with Across USA. Probably the worst shipping company. Never get into Across USA with any business. Across USA will start with a sweet quote and there you fall prey. Stay away from this company. Else you will go through several agony dealing with them and regret later. I shipped my items from Texas to California. Below are my feedback and How I was treated by Across USA: 1. Discriminated, by refering my financial status and Mr. Yair mentioned for the money you paid, you donot deserve a prompt delivery, Else pay $1500 for a guaranteed delivery 2.Intentionally delayed - Inspite of several requests to them to arrange for proper delivery without delay , they intentially refused to deliver it on time. 3. Tried to charge more by delaying and pressurizing the customer - This company intentionally delays and when you keep following they say we have a guaranteed expedited delivery option and for which you will have to pay $1500 4. Tried to charge 100% of the total amount with false commitment on delivery date by sending an credit card authorization over email and phone calls even before the items were delivered, while 30% has been committed to be paid only upon delivery 5. Trust Reviews from other customers, who have passed through the same phase and got the same treatment. You would find a list of other customers on Yelp who have gone through the same tortures. This company is a very bad example of treatment to customers. And this will spoil any trustful mindset in customers mindset. I want to keep it short. I have more than 100 email followups and several phone calls with the CEO, Customer Support Manager of Across USA before my items were delivered. Finally after 35 days of pickup my items were delivered with damages. For the damages they came…

They write their own reviews - don't get deceived with 5 star reviews.

All the 5 star reviews are fake to hide the 1 star rating, I am another victim of this Acrossusa. Get ripped off if you believe 5 star reviews. Notice it's all either 1 star or 5 stars and there are certain keywords u will not miss in all the fake 5 star reviews, which I guess is written by some professional writer. Do not trust them.you will nightmares from pickup till delivery or no delivery.

    Moving experience, Texas to Tennessee.

Here are the facts: We had a quote from North American Van Lines (NAVL) for $8,400 based on an in-home survey, guaranteed not to go up. Across USA (AUSA from here on) told us that they knew exactly how they priced things and would guaranteed to beat the price. AUSA knew what the quote was as far as scope (packing, loading, transport, and unloading) and how much money was involved. The local rep quoted us $6400 based on the knowledge of the NAVL quote. They also insisted on a 25% deposit to guarantee the service. The day of packing arrived and the AUSA representative told my wife that the original estimate was too low and the cost was now going to be over $10,000. When she said that wasn't the original quote, the representative in our house said, "We will work something out." Unfortunately, she signed the revised estimate based on the verbal acknowledgement. Also buried in the fine print was a clause that said same day cancellation is subject to a 50% penalty. Read on for how this impacts things. When the packing was finally done, the cost of the move had risen to $13,000 and change. My first response was to simply unload the truck, we would go back to NAVL. When we protested, the representative called Josh in the Dallas office and spirited conversation took place. When asked if they were going to honor the original quote or the statement about working things out, Josh basically said the signature on the new estimate voided all previous estimates and that the original numbers were not correct, even though we had a guaranteed maximum price from NAVL, and from previous, we would still owe them $6,500 to simply unload the truck. At the end of the discussion, Josh and the local representative agreed to a reduction in price to a little over $10,000. So, we are off to our new…
