    Box removal with AnyVan.

Process from start to finish was easy. It was simple to reserve date, time and number of boxes on website, that needed transporting. Could book at my convenience without having to worry about calling within office hours and then put on hold as happens with so many companies. Driver turned up on time, was polite and helpful and delivered on time following the instructions provided at time of booking, all boxes arrived undamaged and nothing was damaged in transit. Would highly recommend and will be using again in the future.

I used AnyVan for two different car moves both went very smoothly. I was informed at all times where the transporter was when on route to me & where the cars were. Both drivers were friendly, knowledgeable & courteous. I would recommend to anyone looking for car transportation.

    Furniture removal from Apartment.

A relatively small job booked and completed without fuss. Excellent app provided to keep track of driver and ETA. Pricing was based on specific items and floor locations so it pays to be accurate when booking. Overall price very fair and no quibble cancellation due to Coronavirus lockdown made me happy me to rebook when it was safe to do so. No complaints.

Third time I’ve used AnyVan and they are absolutely brilliant. They’re so efficient, hard working, flexible and extremely competitive. I episode never use any other firm.

If you can - avoid this company. Well, the only thing which was good was the arrival time -a van was here on time. Everything else was a disaster. We wanted a renown moving company - AnyVan claims that it is the one. A van was not a type for moving a house - too small. A time for a collection had been changed three times. Finally, the van arrived to an address 2 hours in advance. The loading guys were not ready at that time. The van had no padding, no protection, straps..Our fridge was put on a side - it is scratched now. A driver put tyres on the top of all - we have some broken pieces of our furniture. Bookcases were loaded with our books - the backing is damage with 4 out of 6 bookcases. We had to leave some furniture in a flat. God only knows what we are going to do with it. The destination is nearly 1100 miles away. We booked this company and AnyVan sent a car for 5 cubic meters !! This was for a whole household! We had to wait for another and bigger van for more than a week. They got us because we paid a deposit to secure a booking. I can't imagine if everything else was lined up after the first agreed day. We could have lost more money for a shuttle train to EU, for a hotel.. The price for this "service" is another story - a drive takes cash only at the destination. Otherwise he would not unload his van. My advice - Never book this company!!

I used AnyVan to move home. The time slot we had chosen was between 10am and 12pm. At 11am I used the tracker to see where the driver was and he was over 2 hours away. When I called the office to find out what was going on, they said the original driver had cancelled. I did not find this out until I called them, they did not call me to let me know. By 1:30pm the new driver had still not arrived. I needed to collect the keys for my new property before the estate agent closed at 4pm. The estate agent was 1.5 hours away so I had to ask my Dad to drive 1 hour to the collection point to wait for the driver while I went to collect the keys. When I had collected the keys at 3pm I used the driver tracker again to see where he was and it said there was no driver. I once again called the office and they once again told me that this second driver had also cancelled. Again, this was not communicated to me until I called them. A driver eventually turned up to the collection point at 4:45pm, 6 hours and 45 minutes after the start of the original collection window. It was nearly 8pm by the time the items were delivered. When I spoke to AnyVan they said they don't know when a driver has cancelled but were satisfied that this had been communicated to me. But it was only communicated to me after I called them. They also believe they arrived within the time frame because at 3pm when I called, they asked if I still wanted a driver that day and would 6pm be ok or I could cancel. At this point my stuff is all packed up and I have collected the keys to my new flat, I had to move that day, of course I was going to agree to that. After making my house move infinitely more stressful and causing my Dad to have to take time out of his day to drive an hour away to wait for the pickup, and arriving…

    Unreliable.

My son paid £800+ to be moved recently from Southampton to Liverpool. He paid extra to have his removal over 2 days, scheduled for collection early on the Thursday morning and delivered to Liverpool address early on the Friday morning. The removal men did not turn up on the day and no-one contacted him to say there was a problem even though he had confirmed all the arrangements just a few days before. Firm not able to arrange another removal until a day later (Friday) and there was no real apology AND NO compensation! They repaid him a derisory £33 (£23 for finally completing the removal in 1 day instead of 2, which meant furniture delivered at 8pm instead of 8am and £10 for vacuum parts that went missing in the move). This caused a lot of stress and disruption to my son who had to hang around for another 24 hours with everything packed and to ourselves as we were helping him with the move. The (new drivers) who finally did the move were great and very professional - but the company is not. So would not advise using this firm if you actually have to move on the day you have booked! Avoid.

AVOID!! Lying drivers, poor customer services, do what they can to wiggle out and not take responsibility for furniture damage claims. DON'T USE, DON'T TAKE THE RISK. THEY DON'T USE THEIR OWN DRIVERS AND USE 3RD PARTY Inividuals/companies. This company is NOT registered on any of the Ombudsman schemes there you DO NOT HAVE THE SAME PROTECTION. FIND A COMPANY THAT IS A 'REALLY MOVING' OR PART OF 'R. I.O.S' AND DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID. First off, we had our house move booked for between 2-4pm. The drivers didn't arrive until 5:20pm!! I watched as they rushed to take my furniture out of my house, knocking and bashing it against almost every wall on their way. At one point they turned my £1,100 sofa bed on its side causing the mechanism to fall out onto the pavement outside breaking one of the feet and gauging the frame. I even had to go and help them to put it back in as they struggled to keep hold of the whole thing but at this time I didn't notice the extent of the damage. They then took my furniture to our new house where my partner was waiting. At this point they scraped the arm to the same sofa a cross a wall causing staining to the arm. By the end of it all, we had a damaged wardrobe which was inside the door to the frame (God knows how they managed it), they cracked and broke my sons cotbed and also the sofa-bed as mentioned above. Extremely unhappy, I emailed the company and filled in the relavent details on their claim form. After not much time at all, they came back to me and told me they had reviewed the case in full and in similar words, "the drivers don't recall any damage, the vehicle was more than big enough to fit all of your furniture whilst being strapped safely inside. And unfortunately as you don't have pictures of the areas of furniture…
