Just used Firstmove to move my mum into a one bedroom flat. Great team. We hired them for a '2 hour mini move', as we weren't moving far. They even managed to drop off a few items at my own house on the way. Very efficient, careful with the furniture and polite. Nothing was too much bother and the move was stress free . Very pleased with their service and would definitely use again.

We were recommended first removals by a friend , and we weren’t disappointed. What a brilliant team . So thoughtful and polite , and very well organised . They were a pleasure to have around . Very efficient , very careful with our belongings , and very thoughtful towards my husband who is not a well man . We were impressed with their handling of all the garage and gardening stuff , being put in a separate van to house stuff , therefore keeping everything clean . Our challenge of many many garden planters and pots did not defeat them , and precious plants were unharmed . All furniture etc arrived intact and into the room they we’re designated . A great team led by David , and who I would highly recommend . Jenny fro, Marple.

The two Davids at Firstmove are absolute stars. We just had to do a move for my Dad to a one bed retirement flat which involved sorting through and clearing out vast amounts of stuff he'd hoarded up over an entire lifetime in a 3 bed semi. We hired a small van ourselves so that we could do dozens of runs to charity shops / tip. Firstmove provided labour only to help us as and when needed over two weeks with the house clearance exercise, and their transport and labour to move everything bulky / heavy across to his flat in one day. The whole process was made much less stressful than it could have been for myself and my Dad through their professionalism, flexibility, reliability and courtesy shown at all times. Highly recommended and very reasonable and clear prices.

We moved house two weeks ago and were recommended Firstmove Removals by a friend. David popped in to see us a month or two before the move to give us an idea of how many boxes etc we would need and ran through how everything would work on the day. He then dropped by a couple of times to give us more boxes when we needed them. David and his team arrived nice and early on our moving day and were absolutely fantastic. They took all the hassle out of moving and it was worth every single penny. I found them to be reasonably priced and they really did do an excellent job. Despite us asking them to stall moving our furniture in to the new house until we'd had a full clean done - we still had everything in by 3pm. They took beds/wardrobes/drawers to pieces and rebuilt them (the worst part of moving we find) in no time at all. Polite and professional and nothing was too much to ask. Thanks again to all three of you for your hard work, I'll recommend you to everyone! Jules, Will & Jack .

Ben & Dave arrived on time to meet/collect my belongings from a storage firm. They were very professional, well mannered/polite and nothing was too much trouble for the men. Ben & Dave moved all my belongings/furniture "Without" any damage! I couldn't speak more highly for this firm, they are also "Excellent Value" for money. 10/10 I would recommend this firm and I will use them again!

We were very impressed with the service provided by FirstMove. They were the only company to suggest doing the move over two days due to the long distance, packing everything on the first day and driving part-way to the new location, and unpacking the following day. Their quote was still the cheapest despite this. The work was done quickly but carefully, with particular attention made to wrapping the more fragile items. David and his team were professional and extremely polite throughout, and ensured the move went smoothly. Thank you. Katie and Phil.

Ben and his team were fantastic. Our moving date changed three times in January and each time they accommodated us - thank goodness ! My husband is not good at DIY and I was so relieved that as part of their services our beds and wardrobes were dismantled and rebuilt at our new home. Excellent removals company, you need look no further! David and his team deliver excellent customer service from start to finish. I was due to be moving the week before christmas (With a 3month old baby I might add) which ended up being delayed multiple times, leaving us living out of boxes over christmas. David showed great understanding and kept in touch which was very reasuring to me during a very stressful time. He managed to accomodate my move with only a few days notice and got a great team of guys to me promptly on the morning of the move. Mark, David and Ben came to assist our family move from a second floor flat (with no lift) to our new house, nothing was too much for them and they even offered to help us rebuild furniture after getting our stuff in. They were very friendly guys who took great care of our belongings and they made what could have been a very stressful day, both stress free and even enjoyable! So a BIG thank you from us! I would definitely use this company again and would recommend them to any of my friends!

Excellent removals service for our small house move within Manchester. David came the day I made the enquiry to view my house and provide an estimate. The company offer a full packing service: pictures taken from walls, loft and garden shed cleared, wardrobes and clothes in fitted cupboards. Was impressed by the care and thought for example picking out our cat basket from the loft items in case we needed it and on arrival at our new house (in December) asking if the boxes from our loft labelled "Christmas" might want to be kept out. Professional and careful packing and labelling with a friendly and positive approach to their work. Highly recommended.
