Removal from a large house.

We want to express out gratitude to all staff - Steve, Rob, Steve,, Mark and another man- involved with moving our house contents in stages over the last two weeks. The final day was under very difficult circumstances, for which they were in no way to blame, and they continued to provide a very professional service, under added pressure. We hope we’ll meet some of you again when we move to our new home. Thank you also to Terry and Stephen who couldn’t do enough to help us prior to the actual moving.

1st class service,staff couldn't of done a better job for me & also at a competitive price. I was moved from stockport to Chester,i would definitely reccomend and use your company again.lads were spot on and once again Thanks very much for keeping in touch re timings etc throughout the services you provided including the part packing, much appreciated. Moving furniture from Lincolnshire to Hyde.

They performed well for us back in July 2017. They collected a number of large pieces of furniture from a house in Lincolnshire. They delivered to Hyde within the agreed schedule and carried the furniture to the rooms specified including the first floor. We were pleased with their work.

Agreement was that boxes would be loaded into a container directly for storage, but the van appeared on the day with no containers ("FLT has broken down" - that old story!). They promised to transfer boxes to a container for storage back at the depot - again it never happened. Guess what - boxes then got lost. Final and worst was them completely ignoring my report of lost boxes - I never heard anything back from them at all. Shame you can't give negative scores.

We moved from New Mills to Hayfield a matter of less than 5 miles. On the day of the removals not only did they arrive late they came in a vehicle without a taillift plus took a 20 min break immediately. They were complaining all the time and did not get on with the loading very quickly. I had to tell them about packing the vehicle so all the goods would fit in. During the loading one of the removal men was repeatedly using his mobile phone instead of loading vehicle. The men took their lunch break a couple of hours later having completed about a third of the loading. Commencing after over an hour lunch they continued with plenty of our help as we thought we were never going to get finished that afternoon. Once the vehicle was filled and they drove to our destination they again disappeared to go to the local shops blocking the road. We had to unload the vehicle as well as the men, as they were so slow. On more than one occasion the furniture was damaged due to their bad handling also dirty due to them dragging items across the floor. They appeared to have no experience of carrying furniture and did some unnecessary damage to the staircase lifting the beds upstairs.I was totally disgusted with the whole experience we had gone through. On all counts they deserve a big ZERO. .
