Kitsons arrived exactly.on time earlier in fact. Both men were really friendly and polite. Removed our old piano with care and were so careful not to cause any damage to doorways etc. . Would thourougly recommend Kitsons anytime. Five stars . Excellent company.

Piano removal.

From emailing Kitsons for a quote to the actual removal of my piano, everything was very good service. The replies to my enquiry were very prompt. The quote was very reasonable. They could come on the same day as I asked for a quote. They came when arranged and very easily removed my piano for me. The two gentlemen were polite, friendly and professional throughout. I would definitely recommend Kitsons.

I used the Kitson's Transport 'Man and Van' service to help me move from my parents' house in Droylsden to a new flat in Manchester city centre. The service was fantastic; the driver turned up at the agreed time, and he was professional but friendly. The van came with trolleys and protective covers for my mattress and other furniture so they didn't get ruined in the move. Everything was loaded into the van really quickly, and then the driver met us at the new apartment, and helped us carry everything up three flights of stairs. He even stuck around while I changed my mind several times about where I wanted furniture to go and helped me move it. I was really worried about the move and getting everything upstairs, but Kitson's were really helpful and made sure that there was nothing to stress about. I would definitely recommend to my friends and family, and will use them again the next time I move!

We hired Kitsons to help move my elderly mother from her house into a retirement home after the passing of her partner. I must say they provided an excellent and efficient service on what was a very hard time. Extreme care was taken of my mothers possessions some of which have a lot of sentimental value. My Mother was very anxious before the move but the guy's are very friendly and took all the stress out the move. I would highly recommend them. Cath.

Kitsons removals moved us from Withington to Didsbury just before christmas we thought that at such short notice we would be stuck and not be able to book a removal company but after talking to the salesman they fitted our removal in within a couple of days.Excellent service and would recommend to friends and family. Nothing was too much bother and they took great care with all of the furniture. They also moved a large upright piano to my sons house that was not on the itinery and managed to get through a very narrow doorway without any damage. Very impressed the lads made it a very stress free day for us.

House to Flat Removals.

I hired Kitsons Transport to help me move from my house in Leigh to a new flat in Manchester whilst putting some of my furniture in temporary storage until a permanent storage solution was found. Ivor (the owner) was present on the removal to help and to make sure the removal ran smoothly. The house was cleared in no time at all and I am very happy with how the removal took place. Kitsons where efficient but professional and I would reccomend them to anyone.

Damaged piano.

Unfortunately Kitsons damaged a piano that I'd inherited, when it was wedged in a doorway. I did not notice the damage until I returned from work, but as they had subsequently tilted the piano to get around the door they voided their insurance. Due to this, when I compained they didn't want to know. The insurance company would not pay out due to the tilting of the piano and that was that. I though that was quite poor - as well as being gutted about the damage to my Grandad's piano, I'm really disappointed that a removals company found it so easy to refuse responsibility for damaging such a precious item. Sorry - would not recommend.
